The Legacy LA Adults & Community Programs provide constant support to Legacy LA parents, loved ones, and members of the surrounding community. Legacy is devoted to expanding the capacity of everyone involved in building a better Ramona Gardens. We are always expanding our programs based on your needs. Mujeres Poderosas

Mujeres Poderosas allows Legacy LA Women & Mothers to build their capacity as leaders in their communities. Together, they work on various campaigns at Legacy LA educating the community on youth investment, covid protocols, Environmental Justice, and more. Their leadership, talent, and culture inspire many to dream big.

Our community events are how we bring our people together to celebrate what’s most important. We proudly host events at our facilities quarterly. Some annual events include: Summer BBQ’s, Converse Christmas, Halloween at Legacy, Clothes Giveaways, and much more.

Communidad Unida

Community Members at Communidad Unida

Comunidad Unida takes place in Ramona Gardens and is open to any community member that wants to learn about Legacy LA’s campaign work. This space is where community members can stay informed on our proposed park being built in Ramona gardens, learn when campaign town halls are taking place, and more.

Raza Sana

 Raza Sana Wilderness Hike

Raza Sana is a therapeutic, once-a-month event that helps parents of youth actively involved in the GRYD program to better understand their children and themselves. They talk about suicidal ideation in youth, youth sexuality, bullying, learn adult mindfulness techniques, and more to bring more peace to the home life.
