Equity
Legacy LA’s Outdoor Equity Program provides those who traditionally don’t have access to green spaces the opportunity to truly experience nature.
It increases the ability of residents in underserved communities to participate in outdoor experiences within their community, parks, and public lands.
Opportunities

Local Trips
Participants learn about local flora & fauna, environmental stewardship, and engage in activities to bring them closer to their natural environment.

Day Trips
Participants travel to unique ecosystems in the Southern California area, expand their understanding of natural life, and work together in team-building exercises.

Overnights
Participants experience some of the most sought-after state vistas. They learn various life and survival skills. Past experiences: Channel Islands, Yosemite, Big Bear, and more.
